Challenge: Behind the Music

When listening to music, I will often find myself trying to figure out the story that inspired the song. I thought this would make a fun challenge. Pick a song and write a story that you feel captures it. Make the title of the song (with artist) as the title, so we can listen to the song that inspired you! #challenges #behindthemusic

Challenge: Any Last Words

I really enjoyed all the Last Word Challenge stories and am excited to write one for everybodies last sentences they submitted. So, starting from the top the next one is

"He hoped that next time there wouldn't be any parts left over."

Let's try and get these all in by next Sunday.

Challenge: Any Last Words???

This challenge is two parts- First, come up an ending sentence to a story. Leave these in the comment section of this challenge. The second part is to create a story that ends with the sentence I have left below. You may edit the sentence ONLY to adjust it for the point of view you are writing from. Have fun!

"It was the loveliest shade of pink they'd ever seen."

Challenge: one hundred words

There are times when nothing stops me from writing. Characters crowd into my world, and I’m obsessed with telling their stories. There are other times when I’m at a loss; I can’t imagine writing anything. This is one of those times; therefore, like CaliBels, I need a gentle nudge. It is for this reason, I am issuing a challenge: Write a one hundred word story and submit it to our fledgling blog within a week. One hundred words—no more and no less. Comments?
